- Divorce: In uncontested divorce cases, I can represent you, draft your property settlement agreement and file that agreement with the court. There is a minimum 120 day waiting period between the filing and the granting of your divorce.
- Child custody and placement: If there is a dispute between the parties about child custody and placement, the parties will be required to undergo mediation. I can help prepare you for this mediation session.
- Property division: Since Wisconsin is a marital property state, almost all property is subject to equal division at divorce. I can help determine what property should be exempt from division and represent your interests in court.
- Prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements: You can determine on your own what property should and should not be included as marital property if you and your spouse ever divorce.
